Get to know about The DFTC

The DAA Fisheries Training Center (DFTC) is an innovative and creative Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Center established with the state of the art Teaching and Learning Facility to train individuals and groups both in the formal and the informal sector to acquire requisite skills and attitude needed for industry and self- employment.

It is fully accredited by the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET) under the Act 718 since August 2018.

It uses the Competency- Based Training (CBT) model for Teaching and Learning The curriculum of the programmes offered is developed to equip the learners with integrated set of employable knowledge, skills and attitude needed in the real world of work and for self-employment.

Accommodation

It has a boarding facility at an affordable price for distant learners.

We Sell safe and healthy processed fish

The Center also produces safe and healthy processed fish for sale for both local and international markets using the most current, efficient and best practices of fish processing technologies.
